Cheryl Johnson has more than 18 years of experience in massage therapy, hospital-based massage program development and implementation, instructor of massage and oncology massage therapy, oncology massage curriculum development, clinical curriculum development and facilitation and is also a highly qualified and skilled Medical Massage Therapist. Cheryl lectures and teaches at Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood, Colorado and is an accomplished speaker on the topic of oncology and medical massage and the benefits of massage therapy for medical facilities and patients. Prior speaking engagements include Colorado’s Day of Caring, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Blood Cancer Conference, Resources for Ribbons Conference, Head and Neck Cancer Support Groups, Breast Cancer Support Groups, Physical and Occupational Therapy In-services, Tumor Board and many other nurse education and patient support service forums. Cheryl is a member of The Colorado Cancer Coalition, Survivorship Task Force, National Association of Professional Women, Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and is a Colorado State Registered Massage Instructor. Active volunteer services include hospice, hospital staff, cancer and women’s health awareness events. Cindi Vogt, LMT, Co-Owner of Medicine Hands, Inc.

Cindi Vogt has built her business reputation in the corporate world beginning in Omaha, Nebraska at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Department of Radiology’s Resident Administration. In 1986, she took a position in Colorado as a Clinical Manager with an OB/GYN Practice and Genetic Research Lab — building the foundation of ethics and compliance. She transitioned into Pediatrics and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Specialties — ultimately blending her business and financial talents into the Construction and Construction Law industry. After a major life event, Cindi paused to reflect on her future. She felt guided to help others through the healing touch that massage provides. She earned her LMT degree from Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2010, continuing to complete her Associates in Occupational Studies Degree with an emphasis in Medical/Oncology Massage, along with a Spa Arts and Science Degree in 2011. As a continued philanthropic effort to enhance the well-being of others, Cindi diligently strives to make a difference with her passion for medical massage therapy for the at-risk patient or client; bringing this therapy to the forefront of the medical communities by way of educational lecturing and volunteering at patient supported events and wellness expo’s throughout the country. And, serving proudly as a community leader in The Colorado Cancer Coalition, Survivorship Task Force, The Nebraska Cancer Coalition, Policy and Governance Task Force, American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and Co-Chair of the National Medical Massage and Bodywork Alliance.
